GX-80 умело интегрирует набор отличительных функций GX-1 в архитектуру CS-80; что наиболее важно, массивная двухслойная архитектура, которая фактически сделала GX-1 эквивалентом двух CS-80, а затем и некоторых других. Инструмент способен воспроизводить два разных звука в стиле CS-80 одновременно, независимо панорамируя каждый звук, создавая изысканно богатые стереотембры и сложные многослойные звуки. Для максимальной гибкости и выразительности GX-80 предлагает режим разделенной клавиатуры и умную опцию для имитации полифонического послекасания с помощью монофонического контроллера послекасания. Более того, в GX-80 предварительно загружено более 1000 профессионально разработанных пресетов и эффектов студийного уровня, а это значит, что потрясающие звуки можно получить всего за несколько кликов.
